Clayton Eicher has been an artist and sculptor for over 20 years, and was instructed in the art of both by his father and
grandfather who are both accomplished artists. After becoming a professional wood sculptor, Clayton turned his talents to
taxidermy. Clayton recieved on the job training from master taxidermist Russel O'Neal, then expanded his training with award
winning taxidermist John Camerer of Camerers Wildlife Art. After acheiving professional status in taxidermy, Clayton opened
his own studio called Wildlife Artistry by Clayton Eicher and a skull cleaning service he named "the strip joint".
Clayton frequently attends seminars and conventions to augment his skills and competes in as many taxidermy competitions as
possible. In 2006, Clayton earned the title of master taxidermist and strives to deliver the quality of work worthy of that
title.
SUPPORTING ARTISTS
Amber Eicher is a talented artist and an up and coming taxidermist. She assists Clayton in the studio and creates fine sculptures
and paintings in her own style.
Carie Eicher is our quality control expert. Nothing leaves our studio without passing under the scrutiny of her keen eye.
Her sense of artistic balance and ability to pick out the smallest imperfection is an essential part of our studio. Without
her objective insights and the famous "NO it doesn't look right that way, change it" we would be at a considerable
loss.
